Ce bois est élaboré à partir de pins à cycle court originaires de Nouvelle-Zélande. Après un séchage, il est imprégné avec des agents catalyseurs et de pigmentation dans des cuves sous pression, puis sécher à nouveau afin de descendre à 2 ou 3% d’humidité.
S’en suit une seconde imprégnation sous pression, de résine cette fois.
Il est ensuite compressé afin de perdre 40% de sa masse, afin de le densifier, qui permet d’obtenir du Pale BrankoWood.
La finition est obtenue via un ponçage grain fin.
Fonds et éclisses Eucalyptus Fumé Finition Brut de Scie, la haute densité et la dureté de l’Eucalyptus donne de la clarté de chaque note, toucher agréable, une alternative intéressante à l’ébène.
