Yamaha – Transverse flute
Benefiting from the same high-level design and craftsmanship as the 300 and 400 Series models, the 200 Series flutes are made of nickel silver with an elegant silver finish. They are characterized by excellent response and intonation.

CY mouthpiece
Featuring a double-flared bore and a uniquely internally cut core offering excellent response and a rich, warm tone, the CY-type head helps beginners quickly learn how to produce quality sound. More advanced musicians will appreciate its agile and regular response in all registers.

Keywork
The shapes and placement of all keys have been ergonomically designed to provide playing comfort and natural hand positioning. The keys are assembled and adjusted by hand so that their balance and “feel” are perfect.
Yamaha student and intermediate flutes are equipped with pointed keying which provides a refined, high-end finish, similar to professional flute models.

Set screw
A unique locking system for the adjustment screws prevents them from gradually loosening while still allowing precise adjustment. Their positioning has been changed to facilitate access.
